EXCELLENT Based on 268 reviews Posted on Jo HaighTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ralph came to my aid when I came out of hospital. Not only did he give me specific exercises to do but explained why and how these would work. He demonstrated each exercise and then asked me to replicate what he had just done. My legs are gaining strength daily and my balance is improving due to his knowledge and care. I can definitely recommend him to others. 😀Posted on Luyi GengTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Six weeks before my first marathon, I began experiencing significant knee pain that made running beyond a half marathon difficult. After several months of training, I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to make it to race day. That’s when I started treatment with Gary at Excel Physiotherapy. From the initial consultation, Gary was thorough, professional, and reassuring. He completed a detailed assessment and put a clear treatment and management plan in place. Over the following six weeks, he worked closely with me through targeted treatment, practical advice, and ongoing guidance tailored specifically to running-related injuries. Each session contributed to noticeable improvement and increased confidence in my ability to continue training safely. What stood out most was the level of care and commitment. Gary even made time the day before the marathon to strap my knee and ensure everything was set for race day, which I greatly appreciated. Thanks to Gary’s expertise and the support of the team at Excel Physiotherapy, I was able to start and successfully complete my first marathon. I’m very grateful for their help throughout the process. I would highly recommend Gary and the team at Excel Physiotherapy to anyone dealing with sports or running-related injuries who is looking for knowledgeable, attentive, and professional care.Posted on SophieTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was struggling with headaches/neck and eye pain which Gary identified as linked with my habit of crossing legs when sitting. He worked on the stiff areas in my neck and gave me exercises to strengthen my neck/upper-back, core and hips as all of these areas were contributing to the pain. Habit changes and exercises were easy to implement and realistic. The frequency and intensity of my headaches really improved from making straightforward changes.Posted on KizTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Gary is an excellent physiotherapist who quickly identified the cause of my knee pain and provided tailored strengthening exercises. Thanks to his guidance, my pain has gone, and my knee is now much stronger. Highly recommend Gary and the team at Excel Physiotherapy for expert care with a personal touch.Posted on Ali SayedTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience at Excel Physiotherapy. I went in for tennis elbow, and the physiotherapist was very knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. He took the time to properly assess my condition, explain what was going on, and guide me through an effective treatment plan. I felt listened to and well cared for throughout the session. Highly recommend Excel Physiotherapy to anyone looking for quality physio treatment.Posted on Adam LarkinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I visited Excel Physiotherapy in Upminster for rehab following knee surgery and saw Michelle – she was absolutely brilliant! I’ve seen a lot of physios over the years, and Michelle is by far the best. My private surgeon, who is one of the best in his field, personally recommended Excel Physiotherapy, and he certainly knows what he’s talking about. Michelle’s expertise, care, and personalised approach made a huge difference to my recovery. The clinic is professional and welcoming, with smooth scheduling and a friendly team that puts you at ease from the moment you arrive. I’ve since recommended her to friends, and they’ve all had fantastic experiences too. I would 100% recommend Michelle and Excel Physiotherapy to anyone looking for top-quality care.Posted on Alan GibsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Gary initially managed to recover my bad back (L4 disc) that was so bad it prevented me walking up the stairs due to severe sciatic pain in my left leg. He then went on to analyse what was causing the problem and worked with me to resolve the issue to prevent it returning. Gary specialises in not just treating the physical issue but takes time to work out why the problem has occurred in the first place. I would recommend him to anyone who has a physio issue.Posted on Sophia SammonsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very grateful to Gary for helping me with a knee issue that three physiotherapists couldn’t figure out. Gary is knowledgeable and took the time to explain the mechanics of my knee and hip, and built a rehab program for me to follow to prevent further injury. Would highly recommend to anyone!Posted on Anna StoddartTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Only have positive things to say about Gary, if I hadn’t had had his guidance and expertise, I would not have got through my marathon training period and the marathon itself! He targeted physio to my needs, helping to strengthen weak areas that were causing me problems as well as dealing with minor injuries that cropped up towards the end of training. Thank you!
